enveloped in velvet
Four people find themselves stranded in the shallow waters of modern existence. Facing up to the self-deception and triviality of their everyday encounters, each challenge themselves to speak honestly about the things we think but don't say. As the four monologues veer in different directions, they eventually collide in an event that unites them all.
Presented by Ransack Theatre, Enveloped in Velvet is a new work from playwright Piers Black-Hawkins, developed in association with Manchester’s HOME.
